You&#8217;ll also find a bunch of rest areas with benches and tables. It&#8217;ll give you a chance to take a dip in the (quite refreshing) Baltic Sea. The temperatures in July and August oscillate around 20 degrees.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The Vistula Spit is less crowded than other places on the Polish coast, like Hel or \u0141eba. On its outskirts, however, you can find a real gem &#8211; a tall, red-concrete lighthouse from which you can embrace the panorama over the Gda\u0144sk Bay, the Vistula Lagoon and the city of Frombork &#8211; the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus &#8211; with its majestic gothic cathedral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Latarnia jest otwarta dla turyst\u00f3w od maja do sierpnia. The further from Krynica Morska, the less busy the beaches are. Get off your bike and climb to the top to enjoy the view over the Vistula Lagoon and the Gda\u0144sk Bay.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Granica<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Sama w sobie&nbsp;<em>granica z Rosj\u0105 nie jest szczeg\u00f3lnie ekscytuj\u0105cym miejscem.<\/em>, yet the Russian border makes a nice finish line for your ride through the Vistula Spit. You&#8217;ll see the barriers, a fence, and probably some Polish border guards. That&#8217;s why the beaches in that area are calmer and more peaceful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rezerwat Przyrody Mewia \u0141acha<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">If you love wildlife bird watching, stop at the Mewia \u0141acha nature reserve. You can spot various marine birds and, if you&#8217;re lucky, even seals and beavers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ob\u00f3z koncentracyjny w Sztutowie<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Aside from pristine nature and holiday resorts, Vistula Spit has some dark history. If you&#8217;re interested in World War II, you might want to stop in Sztutowo and visit the Stutthof Concentration Camp museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Niewiele os\u00f3b wie, \u017ce to w\u0142a\u015bnie tutaj, na idyllicznym wybrze\u017cu Ba\u0142tyku, nazi\u015bci otworzyli pierwszy w historii ob\u00f3z koncentracyjny, ju\u017c drugiego dnia wojny. Podczas II wojny \u015bwiatowej 65 000 os\u00f3b zmar\u0142o w Stutthofie z powodu morderstw, g\u0142odu, chor\u00f3b i ekstremalnych warunk\u00f3w pracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Wst\u0119p do muzeum nie jest p\u0142atny, ale trzeba zap\u0142aci\u0107 za przewodnika. Op\u0142ata za przewodnika wynosi 180 z\u0142 za grup\u0119. Wycieczka trwa oko\u0142o 1,5 godziny. Konieczna jest wcze\u015bniejsza rezerwacja.
