Over the years of travelling by bike, I stayed in plenty of hostels, guesthouses, campsites and other places. When I am looking for accommodation, I usually make sure there is a safe space to park my bike.
In the cities, I also value if I can leave my bike and luggage after the check-out and explore the city without worrying about parking my bike with all the luggage unattended.
When I travel alone, I also appreciate places where I can meet other like-minded travellers, whether bike-tourists or not. My budget is usually pretty low, so all places on the map are inexpensive but offer good value for the money.
I have created a map of places I stayed in with my bike that I consider bicycle- and solo-traveller- friendly. I will progressively add new locations during my next trips. I hope it will be a practical tool for finding accommodation during your bike tours.
